Showcasing a Sports-Based Massage Therapy Business with Strong Local Roots

Hands on Moxie Massage Therapy is a Greensburg, PA-based practice focused on injury prevention and recovery. Founded in 2019 by Nicole Cribbs, Hands on Moxie offers sports-based massage therapy to help clients recover from injuries or perform at their best in daily life. The business is closely connected to Sound Supplements and Virtus Barbell, two other wellness-focused ventures under the same umbrella.

Although the business was already well-established locally, Hands on Moxie didn’t have a dedicated website. Nicole needed a clear, simple site to showcase services, connect with new clients, and integrate scheduling through MassageBook. She wanted something that fit the brand she’d already built—with strong visuals, clear messaging, and local SEO in mind.

Nicole needed a simple, effective way to show her massage services and accept bookings. We built a clear WordPress website and continue to support it through website care.

Website Build

We built a clean, mobile-friendly WordPress site that highlights Nicole’s existing branding and makes it easy for clients to learn about services and book appointments. I helped advise on content and images, created a focused layout, and integrated MassageBook to streamline scheduling. Local SEO schema was added to help improve visibility for nearby clients, and Google tools were connected to track search and traffic data.

Website Care

After launch, I continued to support Nicole with ongoing website care, including hosting, backups, plugin and core updates, and uptime monitoring. This ensures the site stays secure and running smoothly—so she can focus on her clients, not tech tasks.

    I fear most things related to technology. I was really afraid that Rene would find it annoying that I understand NOTHING about how this process works or even what the internet world is capable of doing. I really stressed that I wouldn’t be able to articulate the vision in my head in a way that made sense to be able to get it on a screen. None of my fears came true. I don’t know how Rene does it but she figured out how to not only interpret my scrambled thoughts, but also explain things that were way over my head so that I could understand them. My favorite part of the process was watching the site evolve and go through the different reviews. It was amazing to be able to play around with different ideas and then suddenly they all came together. I know less than zero about her job and she made me feel like I was always extremely involved in the process, even if I didn’t know what was going on, Rene explained it in a way that was clear.
