Hey there! I’m Rene, a Pittsburgh-based Web Developer and WordPress is my jam.
Back in the day, I went to school for Computer Science, and now I have an extensive background in development and teaching.
In former lives, I’ve been:
- A Business Intelligence Developer. BI involves digging into data, summarizing it and presenting it in a pretty, easy-to-read format.
- A SQL Developer. Database developers get into the nitty gritty of the data, make sure it’s correct, feed it in correctly and get it back out, fast.
- A programmer. I’ve written various Web and desktop apps in languages like C#.
- An instructor. I’ve taught adults tech skills ranging from Microsoft Office to Photoshop to C++.
In most cases, I worked for one, medium to large-sized company at a time.
My dad is a small business owner (celebrating 50 years in 2019!) and although I’ve seen firsthand that it’s not all bubbles and baskets of kittens, it makes sense to me. Small business ownership resonates with me in a way that other career paths have not.
I know I rely on accountants, lawyers and other professionals to fill in the gaps in my knowledge. I trust their guidance and advice in these areas and appreciate their expertise.
That’s what I want to do for your small business.
I want to use my technical knowledge and experience to help your business succeed. You have a LOT going on and if you’re like me, you want to work with someone who gets you, someone you can trust and someone who has the knowledge and experience to do the job well.
Have a project and think we’d be a good fit? Let’s talk.
