If you spend any time on social media or in your inbox, you’ve heard about people who are making the most of the quarantine, starting all the big projects and tackling those big goals.
I applaud those people, really. I love projects and goals.
But now is different. My heart is heavy and those projects and goals seem WAY out of reach. For now, I’m taking each day as it comes and every morning, I ask myself this important question:
What will future me be glad that I did today?
It could be as simple as drinking a full glass of water, checking in with a friend or picking one task to finish before the end of the day. It doesn’t have to be anything in particular and it doesn’t have to be big, but this small act might help you focus on what really matters in a time of uncertainty.
So tell me, what are you going to do today that future you will be glad that you did? Reply and let me know.
