A few weeks ago I was talking with my friend Ruanna about back pain. She sent along a video from Bob & Brad, the most famous physical therapists on the internet.
Man, I was stoked. Not just to get a great video that could help me, but to see such an awesome example of content marketing.
You may not think that content creation applies to people like physical therapists, but Bob & Brad have over 2,000 videos on YouTube and 1.36M subscribers. (That M stands for MILLION.)
Look at the description of any video and you’ll see that there are giveaways, Amazon affiliate links, social feeds — even t-shirts for sale.
Bob & Brad are clearly doing content right. They’re providing helpful information and engaging their audience.
Think about your business — could you use video to inform or engage your audience? (Hey, I actually have a blog post about video on your small business website — the why and how. Coincidence?)
If you’re already using video, I’d love to see how. And if you’re not but think you might want to, reply to this email and let’s talk.
Have a good one!
P.S. October is a busy month for me! If you’re into productivity, check out this free, virtual Productivity Summit. I’m speaking about email marketing on Saturday. I’ll also be at WordCamp Jackson (Michigan) speaking about freelancer finances. And if you’re in the Pittsburgh area, I’d love to see you at our WordPress Pittsburgh Mega Meetup.
P.P.S. I’m on Instagram! I’m not 100% sure what I’m doing there, but if you’re there, let’s connect.
