Being self-employed and working from home can be isolating. Don’t get me wrong — this work is the best fit of anything I’ve done in my life so far, but it has its drawbacks.
Luckily, I found a community of people who are in the same boat as I am. Their support, advice, thoughts, perspectives and presence have been invaluable in my journey.
Today’s email comes to you because of that group. One of my colleagues started a “weekly focus session” where interested members jump on Zoom for an hour and work on something related to their business.
It got me thinking about why I’m writing today. Client work so often takes precedence, but if you want to be successful, you need to find time to spend on your business instead of in your business.
This could also apply to your personal life as well — taking time out for yourself instead of always worrying about others.
So how do YOU find time for your business or yourself?
