Good Stuff from Rene: Volume 10 – The time I was almost on a podcast

Heyyyyyyy! (Or rather, ¡Hola!)

A few weeks ago, I was asked to be on a small business podcast (!?!?!?!). I was super nervous, but it went pretty well (and I had fun).

I wrote a WHOLE LONG NEWSLETTER about it, and then… the podcast wasn’t released. I emailed the creator, and he said it would be out later (a few days ago) and still it’s not out.

It’s kind of weird to send a big thing about a podcast WITH NO PODCAST LINK, right?

So… I’ll give it a little longer. If it’s released, I’ll tell you all about it AND send the link. And if it’s not, I’ll just tell you all about it and you can pretend to hear my voice in your head speaking eloquently about WordPress.

This throws off my whole editorial calendar (all two months for this project), so this newsletter will have some random stuff.

I don’t know why I’m loving all caps right now. Just bear with me, hopefully it will pass. I actually JUST used LOL for the first time last week. OMG, LOL turned 25 in 2014. I couldn’t be any more behind the times.

I recently finished working on a website for good friend and fellow freelancer, Tara. Read all about it.

And YES. I’M IN COSTA RICA AND IT IS AWESOME. 

I don’t want to spoil all the fun, so you’ll get a recap later, but points to cover now:

• I love the food
• I love speaking Spanish
• Costa Rica is beautiful
• I am tired

On My Mind

I like reading articles about therapy, especially this one on asking for what you need. (And if you don’t ask for it, can others see what you need?)

This non-traditional living arrangement really speaks to me. I love that some people live happily together like this.

An emotional story. Go get some tissues before you start this one.
