This month’s newsletter is all about education!
It’s been a long time coming, but I finally finished and published my first lead magnet. If you’re not familiar with lead magnets, they’re something extra special to entice visitors to sign up for your list.
In my case, I have a free guide on calls to action for various types of visitor actions. A call to action is the thing that you tell visitors to do after they do something. So for example, if they read a blog post, you could tell them to sign up for your list, read another post or share the post on social media.
Because you’re already signed up for this list (thanks for being here!), here’s the guide if you’re interested.
Last month on the blog, I wrote about 9 ways to secure your WordPress website and the themes and plugins in my WordPress toolkit.
I feel like I should have known about this before, but I just stumbled on the free webinar series at iThemes. I signed up for Intro to Conversion Copywriting in April and am stoked about it.
Lastly, while I’m mentioning free webinars — a colleague of mine gives a monthly free webinar, mostly in the realm of analytics. Her next one is about spring cleaning your digital content. (She has recordings of past webinars available, too!)
So no excuses. Go learn something new today!
