Merging Two Brands into One Streamlined, Secure, and Easier-to-Manage Website
Dr. Nancy Berk is a psychologist, author, stand-up comic, and host of the long-running podcast Entertaining Insights (previously WhineAt9). With such a wide range of work, she had been managing two separate websites—one for her professional brand and one for her podcast. But when she rebranded the podcast, it was the perfect time to consolidate everything under one clear, unified home online.
In addition to merging the two sites, Nancy needed a modern design refresh, better content organization, and stronger security practices. She also wanted tools she could trust and a site that would be easier to update moving forward — especially with a podcast archive of over 400 episodes.
A Consolidated Website, Cleaner Content, and Secure Podcast Integration
We created a unified, custom WordPress website for Nancy’s personal brand and podcast, migrated hundreds of episodes, and improved both security and newsletter integration. Ongoing website care and email marketing support help everything run smoothly behind the scenes.
Website
We started with a new sitemap and content plan, then iterated through several design revisions based on concepts by designer Cat. I imported over 400 podcast posts, replaced outdated and insecure plugins, and integrated Libsyn’s Publisher Hub to make publishing easier and safer. The final WordPress site brings Nancy’s work together in a clean, approachable format that’s easy to maintain and expand.
Email Marketing + Website Care
To help Nancy stay connected with her audience, we integrated Mailchimp and placed newsletter signup forms strategically throughout the site. We also set up an automated email that goes out each time she publishes a new podcast episode or blog post—making it easy for subscribers to stay up to date. I provided Zoom and Loom-based training so she could feel confident using the new tools. Nancy is now on one of my website care plans, which includes backups, updates, security monitoring, and ongoing support—so she never has to worry about technical issues slowing her down.
If you’re ready for a website that’s easy to manage (and support that sticks around after launch) let’s chat about your project. I’ll help you get clear, organized, and set up for what’s next.
