Happy New Year! They say the older you get, the more quickly time passes and I totally agree.

- Taking your own backups with UpdraftPlus. You can never have too many backups. Let me repeat for those of you in the back who may not have heard me. You can never have too many backups.
- Updating plugins, themes and WordPress. In this post and video, I update some plugins and themes and also do a big update to WordPress 5.0 which came out last month.
My goal in the new year is to record more videos, including some about using the new editor. If there’s something you’d like to learn, reply to this email and let me know. I’d love to write a post and record a video about it.
