2024 was a tough year, but 2025 got better. I worked with new and existing clients, joined a new community, redid my own website, reviewed my finances and more.
2023 started out really well but about halfway through the year things went totally awry, making me wonder why there’s no dumpster fire emoji. This is my sixth year in review and I like to just take a minute to look at the year as a whole. (Maybe I’ll find it wasn’t as bad as I thought.)
I like to reflect on what worked and didn’t work for me in the previous year, determine what’s important to me for this year, plan for the year ahead and be able to take action. Read on to see how 2022 went and what’s in store for 2023.
I don’t know about you, but sometimes my life feels busy and like I’m not really accomplishing anything. One way I try to remedy this is to stop, sit down and look back, especially at the new year. Seeing what did and didn’t work and deciding what I want to accomplish going forward brings some much needed clarity in my life.
2020 started off well enough, right? I wrote my 2019 year in review, created some goals and tasks and got to work. But sometimes life goes off the rails.
Last year I wrote my first year in review post. In it, I detailed what happened in 2018 and what I wanted to accomplish in 2019. To hold myself accountable, I created a Google sheet with all the specifics and a monthly reminder to update the sheet. Let’s see how I measured up! (Oh yeah, and talk about my plans for 2020.)
