I follow an account on Twitter that shows the progress for the year. A quarter of 2021 down already?! When I see one of these posts, I’m amazed at how time flies every. single. time.
Sharing the knowledge
One of my quarter 1 goals was to get back in the saddle and speak at a meetup. Meetups are a BIG part of the WordPress community and I really enjoy them.
I gave a presentation on Elementor for the Carlsbad WordPress meetup group. Check out my notes and two recordings (pre-recorded and live).
I was asked to fill in at a Florida meetup, too. Check out my presentation (live) on how to work with CPTs and custom fields with Elementor. (This one was super fun.)
Blogging is still a thing
Another quarter 1 goal was to get back to blogging regularly. Updating your website with new, helpful content on a regular basis is what I preach to clients, so I can’t very well not take my own advice. Here are some new posts since we talked last
- 2020 Year in Review
- How to Prepare Feedback on Your Development Site (with Checklist)
- 3 Ways to Share Passwords Securely
I also updated old content, which I had never really made a point of doing before. (If you like spring cleaning, I totally recommend this exercise. It felt great!)
- Helpful Tools for Small Business Social Media Management
- How Long Does it Take to Build a Website?
- Updating Plugins, Themes and WordPress
How is 2021 shaping up for you so far?
